
| Interlock Industries, Inc. (“Interlock”) branded Spray-Lock™ Aerosol (22oz, 18oz) Flooring Adhesives are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from date of manufacture when handled, stored and transported as specified by Interlock. Spray-Lock™ Flooring Adhesives in 28 lb. cylinders are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from date of manufacture when handled, stored and transported as specified by Interlock. Interlock warrants that Spray-Lock™ Flooring Adhesives will not delaminate due to adhesive failure for five (5) years from date of installation when applied to adhere approved flooring materials as exclusively determined by Interlock and when applied as specified per Interlock’s printed literature, installation guidelines, suggestions, instructions and any other technical information provided. Interlock makes no warranty of merchantability or fitness for any specific purpose; any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose is limited to one (1) year from date of purchase. LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE OR LOSS IS SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED AT ALL TIMES. If used for other than professional purposes, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose is specifically disclaimed. Spray-Lock™ Flooring Adhesive will not delaminate due to moisture vapor emissions not exceeding 85 % RH when tested in accordance with ASTM F2170-02; or not exceeding 7 lb per 1,000 sq ft per 24 hours when tested with a prepackaged calcium chloride crystal kit performed in accordance with ASTM F 1869-98; and not exceeding a pH of 11 when tested accordance with ASTM F710. Spray-Lock™ adhesive does not prevent or restrict the flow or build-up of water vapor emission or alkalinity. This warranty shall not cover moisture and pH levels that exceed the above limitations nor any installation errors. Remedies for any proven failure shall be strictly limited to the replacement of finished flooring materials, adhesive and replacement labor in affected areas only, which shall be exclusively determined by Interlock. Labor for furniture or equipment moving, loss of use time or other related expenses are specifically excluded by this warranty. Only Spray-Lock™ Flooring Adhesives are covered in this warranty. This limited warranty is further subject to the following conditions. Spray-Lock™ products shall be applied as per Spray-Lock™ installation guidelines and per flooring manufacture installation guidelines on “structurally sound”, dust free and clean areas in which the concrete meets acceptable industry standards as defined in ACI Committee 201 Report, “Guide to Durable Concrete” and ASTM F710. If the areas to which the products are applied now or in the future fail to meet these standards, this warranty shall be void. Standing water upon inspection shall void this warranty. Interlock shall not be responsible for structural failure, seismic action, vapor emissions above 85 % RH or 7 lbs per 1,000 sq ft per 24 hours, a pH in excess of 11, dimensional instability of flooring material, discoloration, caustic solutions entering the system topically through the seams, excess waxing, telegraphing, seam failure, voids, tears, rips, water leakage, curing compounds, mold release agents, non-cementatious leveling or patching compounds of any kind, improper preparation or installation or maintenance procedures, and any other condition beyond the control of Interlock. In order to file a claim, written notice shall be submitted to Interlock Industries, Inc. within thirty (30) days of the discovery of the potential breach along with all of the following: supporting data to include vapor emission test results, environmental conditions at time of testing, sub-floor prep data, specific installation procedures employed, type of flooring material, adhesive used and any claimed defect. Installer must be qualified by one of the following: FCIB (Floor Covering Installation Board) or certified by the flooring manufacturer. |
