Limited Warranty Coverage

Interlock warrants that Spray‐Lock® Flooring Adhesives will not delaminate due to adhesive bond failure for five (5) years from date of installation when applied to flooring materials as exclusively approved by Interlock, when applied to properly prepared substrates and when applied as specified per Interlock’s most current printed literature, installation guidelines, instructions and any other technical information provided, which also can be found at www.spraylock.com.

Interlock makes no warranty of merchantability or fitness for any specific purpose; any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose is limited to one (1) year from Date of purchase. LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE OR LOSS IS SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED AT ALL TIMES. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES BEYOND THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY. INTERLOCK EXCLUDES ANY LIABILITY FOR LOST PROFITS OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THE REMEDIES CONTAINED HERIN ARE THE ONLY REMEDIES AVAILABLE FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY.

Performance:

Spray‐Lock®Flooring Adhesive will not delaminate due to adhesive bond failure from Relative Humidity (RH%) up to 90% when tested in accordance with the most current ASTM F2170; and moisture vapor emissions (MVER) up to 8 lb per 1,000 sq ft per 24 hours when tested with a prepackaged calcium chloride crystal kit performed in accordance with the most current ASTM F1869; and not exceeding a pH of 11 when tested accordance with the most current ASTM F710. Note: Moisture testing can only indicate conditions at the time of the test and cannot predict any future changes in moisture levels. Interlock cannot be responsible if moisture levels change in the future.

Exclusions:

This warranty shall not cover moisture and pH levels that exceed the above limitations nor any installation errors. Applying Spraylock adhesive over areas that previously contained re-emulsified competitive adhesive and not removing or sealing the re-emulsified adhesive will void this warranty. Applying Spraylock adhesive over another competitor’s adhesive that later re-emulsifies will void the warranty. Interlock shall not be responsible for structural failure, seismic action, dimensional instability of flooring material, discoloration, caustic solutions entering the system topically through the seams, excess waxing, telegraphing, seam failure, voids, tears, rips, water leakage, curing compounds, mold release agents, non-portland cement based leveling or patching compounds of any kind, improper preparation or installation or maintenance procedures (including flooding of floor with cleaner/stripper), and any other condition beyond the control of Interlock.

Workmanship

Spray-Lock® products shall be applied as per Spray-Lock’s® most current installation guidelines and per flooring manufacture installation guidelines on “structurally sound”, dust free, and clean areas in which the concrete meets acceptable industry standards as defined in the latest versions of ACI 302.1R and ASTM F710. If the areas to which the products are applied now or in the future fail to meet these standards, this warranty shall be void. Standing water upon inspection shall void this warranty. Interlock does not warrant the installer’s workmanship. Workmanship errors, like poor floor preparation or poor material installation, should be addressed to the contractor who installed the floor. Installer/Applicator must perform installation with skilled, experienced and trained workmen supervised by properly trained personnel who have demonstrated expertise in installations of similar size and scope.

Shelf Life

For a period of 3 years from date of manufacture, Spraylock products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship when handled, stored and transported as specified by Interlock. Product should be stored at a minimum of 50°F and  maximum of 120°F at all times. Product should not be exposed to freezing temperatures. Adhesive must be maintained at a minimum temperature of 68°F for a period of 24 hours prior to use.

Remedies

Remedies for any proven failure shall be strictly limited to the replacement of finished flooring materials, adhesive and replacement labor inaffected areas only, which shall be exclusively determined by Interlock. Labor for furniture or equipment moving, loss of use time or other related expenses are specifically excluded by this warranty. This warranty is void if the product has been exposed to freezing temperatures prior to installation. In order to file a claim, written notice shall be submitted to Interlock Industries, Inc.

Within thirty (30) days of the discovery of the potential breach along with all of the following supporting data: moisture tests (vapor emission test results and RH%), pH tests, environmental conditions at time of testing, sub-floor prep data, pictures of the installation, specific installation procedures employed, type of flooring material, Spraylock adhesive used, Spraylock lot number of adhesive used and any claimed defect. Failure to allow Interlock access to inspect the claimed area will void the warranty. This warranty is only valid where Spray-Lock® adhesive were used.
